Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions detailed below apply when hiring a Little Ferry. When you provide your credit card details to secure your booking, you agree to accept these terms and conditions.

Cancellations

Cancellations and changes should be made in writing by email to admin@littleferryco.com.au. Cancellations or changes shall not be effective until acknowledged by Little Ferry Co. If cancellation is made less than two days of the confirmed booking, Little Ferry Co. will charge 100% of the quoted fee to the nominated credit card, except in the case of an extreme weather event or warning. If you are to cancel a confirmed advanced booking made for the same day of travel, 100% cancellation fee will be applied within a minimum of 4 hours’ notice prior to scheduled pick up time, except in the case of an extreme weather event or warning. If you fail to arrive for your booking, it will be deemed as cancelled if the ferry has waited for 15 minutes, then 100% of the quoted fee will be charged. Cancellation of a booking will not be transferable to another day unless the change is requested 2 days or more from the original confirmed booking date.

Passenger numbers

Any booking is inclusive of up to 11 passengers in total for the journey.

Amendments to booking dates/times

If you do need to amend your confirmed booking date or time, you must notify the Little Ferry Co. by phone at least 2 days beforehand. We will do our best to accommodate your request. However, we must take other bookings into consideration.

Payments

Little Ferry Co. will require a 50% deposit in order to secure your function booking. The balance is due five days prior to the function Little Ferry Co. reserves the right to charge the credit card supplied by the customer for fees due as a consequence of any cancellations, extra passengers [food charges], waiting time, changes to pick up or destination or extended journeys. Weather & Sea Condition Factors

Should there be a weather warning issued by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology or if there is adverse water conditions on the river, Little Ferry Co. may determine that it is unsafe to travel. At no cost to the customer, we reserve the right to cancel any affected bookings, with no liability held against Little Ferry Co. by the customer for any losses incurred.

Responsible Service Of Alcohol

Notwithstanding that we are not supplying alcohol, our Skippers retain the ultimate responsibility for the safety and welfare of those onboard the vessel at any time whilst under their command. Accordingly our Skippers ensure that behaviour onboard complies with Western Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol laws and guidelines. They have the authority to refuse the carriage of any passenger deemed unduly influenced by alcohol or illicit drugs. No refunds will be provided to passengers asked to disembark for these reasons.

Dress Code

As a part of our house policy a neat casual dress standard applies. Please note that guests wearing work boots, high visibility work wear, singlets or sleeveless Tshirts will not be permitted aboard

Damage to Property

The client is responsible for the conduct of the client’s guests and indemnifies the vessel for all costs, expenses, damage and loss caused by any act made by the client or the client’s guests.
